photo of KathleenKathie is an occupational therapy consultant with Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Michigan’s state Vocational Rehab program.  Her professional interests include working with transition students and community re-entry and retention with vocational accommodations including worksite evaluations, disability advocacy and inclusion, ergonomics, and assistive technology.  In addition, Kathie is a member of Michigan Occupational Therapy Association (MiOTA), is Certified as a Brain Injury Specialist and as an Employment Training Specialist and is involved in Michigan’s Capital Area Down Syndrome Association.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University in Occupational Therapy.  She provides supervision to Level 1 and Level 2 OT Interns, has lectured on Accommodations and Productivity after a Brain Injury and published work on Adolescents with TBI: Transitioning Back to School.
