Innovative Learning

We offer over 45 undergraduate and 20 graduate degrees, many of which are unique to Stout or are not offered elsewhere in the Midwest.

All of our majors are grouped into six career clusters to help you navigate your career pathway. Or, you can also use our program search to select a delivery format or browse options by degree type. But if you still aren’t certain about which path to choose when you come to Stout, don’t worry! We have the resources available to help guide you.

At UW-Stout, you will be mentored by world-renowned faculty, motivated by high-achieving peers, and supported by Stout alumni around the world. Our curriculum offers a balance of career-focused and liberal arts content designed to help you respond to change and grow personally and professionally.

  • Provides coursework that develops critical thinking skills valued by employers.
  • Empowers you with our eStout program, equipping you with a laptop computer in addition to special-purpose computing laboratories.
  • Stresses learning through involvement with twice as many labs as traditional classrooms.
  • Emphasizes career preparation—you’ll work on “real-world” problems both on and off campus.

Our advanced graduate degrees in M.S.Ed and Ed.S. School Psychology and Ed.D. Career and Technical Education Leadership prepare you to provide vision, direction and leadership in diverse organization and education settings.

Inspiring Faculty
