The Food Science & Technology Minor will provide you with the technical information you need to improve your knowledge and understanding for solving applied science problems associated with food analysis, processing, and production.

If you are seeking a career as a chemist, microbiologist, engineer, or product development scientist in food and related industries, our program will give you a competitive edge along with your major in Packaging, Chemistry, Dietetics, or other fields of science.
To declare a minor, complete the "Applying for a Minor" survey online, and you will be given further instructions. Once this has been processed you will receive an email confirmation from the Advisement Center.
