Donna Schuh is an Administrative Assistant II at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute (SVRI). She has over 13 years of experience working with people with disabilities, 6 at SVRI, where she provides support to the unit that determines eligibility for the State of Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) program by conducting data entry, scheduling calls, and maintaining daily operations. Previously, Donna provided in-home direct care, hosted employee training in a variety of company-related and federally required subjects, worked behind the scenes with Human Resources to screen, interview, and assist with onboarding of employees who provide direct care to people with disabilities, provided job coaching, and assisted individuals with barriers to employment to apply and interview for jobs. Donna attended Chippewa Valley Technical College and became a certified trainer through the American Red Cross to teach Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/First Aid/Automated External Defibrillator. She enjoys collaborating with her compassionate colleagues to make a difference in the lives of people with barriers in their lives and/or to employment.
