Dr. Karaman Kabadurmus is an assistant professor of economics in the Social Science Department. She is also one of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) fellows for the 2024-2025 academic year.
From 2022 to 2023, Dr. Karaman taught in the John E. Walker Department of Economics at Clemson University. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2021, she served on the faculty in the Department of Economics at Yasar University. She worked as a visiting assistant professor at Kalamazoo College after completing her Ph.D. at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Her research focuses on the economics of innovation, health economics, industrial organization, and international trade.
